Advanced Manual Therapy & Sports Physiotherapy

Nikolas Bibic graduated in physiotherapy from Université Laval in 2019 and owns Rehab Performance. His approach emphasizes advanced manual therapy and dry needling. He works with persistent or recurrent musculoskeletal problems. Therefore, he looks for factors maintaining symptoms beyond the painful area.

He assesses mobility, motor control, strength, load tolerance and movement habits. He also uses manual therapy when appropriate. The goal is to link symptoms with function. Then, he builds an active plan for daily activities, training or sport.

Nikolas completed Level 3 of the AQPMA advanced manual therapy curriculum. He is authorized to integrate spinal manipulation when indicated. In addition, he is progressing toward FCAMPT certification. He can prescribe radiographs for selected acute traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.

In addition, his athletic background includes hockey, soccer, track and field, and CrossFit, including high-level competition. This experience strongly informs his work in sports physiotherapy, movement analysis, running, functional training and return to sport.

Nikolas’s Areas of Practice

Nikolas supports patients from assessment through their return to activity. His services include dry needling, running assessment and rehabilitation for return to sport:

Additional training and certifications:

  • dry needling (PPAS) and CCMI concussion management;
  • running biomechanics and running-injury management training;
  • Champion Performance Specialist, Exos Performance Specialist and Blood Flow Restriction Training.

His goal is to understand why a problem persists or returns. He also identifies modifiable factors. Then, he builds a strategy combining treatment, movement and progressive capacity-building.
