Nikola Toshev | Physiotherapist in Blainville
Advanced Manual Therapy & Sports Physiotherapy
Nikola Toshev graduated in physiotherapy from McGill University in 2025. He uses an individualized, evidence-informed approach. His interests include musculoskeletal injuries, sports physiotherapy and return to training.
He assesses movement, strength, mobility and load tolerance. He also considers the demands of each patient’s sport or training. Then, he uses manual therapy when appropriate. Active rehabilitation supports a gradual return to daily activities, training and sport.
Nikola is continuing his education in advanced manual therapy, including the AQPMA curriculum and progression toward FCAMPT certification. He also holds authorization in peripheral joint manipulation and can prescribe radiographs for selected acute traumatic musculoskeletal conditions.
In addition, his background in soccer, running and resistance training strongly influences his work with active patients and athletes. Through his Barbell Rehab Method training, Nikola integrates resistance-training movements, strength development and progressive loading into rehabilitation.
