Active Rehabilitation, Strength & Return to Sport
Physiotherapy technologist and physiotherapy student
Elliot Marcotte Boon graduated from Collège Montmorency as a physiotherapy technologist. In addition, he is continuing his physiotherapy studies at the Université de Montréal.
Elliot is passionate about training and sports performance. His background includes powerlifting and football. Therefore, he understands strength demands, load progression and returning to training.
He favors active rehabilitation in which the patient participates directly. His approach is based on listening and engagement. He then adapts interventions to each person’s abilities and goals.
Strength, Training & a Durable Return to Activity
As part of physiotherapy follow-ups at the clinic, Elliot contributes to:
- physiotherapy rehabilitation in Blainville;
- sports physiotherapy and progressive return to sport;
- CNESST and SAAQ rehabilitation following a workplace or motor-vehicle injury;
- post-operative rehabilitation to progressively restore mobility, strength and function after surgery;
- progression toward training and the gym;
- progression of strength, load tolerance and physical capacity;
- return to activity for a wide range of active and athletic patients.
Finally, his goal is to support durable progress. He helps people rebuild confidence and return to the activities that matter to them.
