Concussion Rehab

At Rehab Performance, we offer specialized, personalized follow-up for individuals who’ve suffered a concussion, whether from sports, work, or daily life. Some of our physiotherapists are certified by the Complete Concussion Management Institute (CCMI), a recognized leader in concussion care.

Our services include:

Functional Training (CrossFit) Management

Many of our physiotherapists at Rehab Performance are also CrossFit athletes. Nikolas has competed at an elite level internationally. In addition to his competitive background, he trained abroad and holds a Cert-CMFA from the Institute of Clinical Excellence — a certification recognizing expertise in managing athletes in functional training settings.

Movement analysis is central to our biomechanical assessments, allowing us to identify root causes of dysfunction. Whether for injury prevention or performance, we work to optimize mobility and technique using advanced manual therapy and individualized exercise programs.

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Training

Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training involves applying a specialized cuff to partially restrict venous return while maintaining arterial flow during low-load exercises. This creates a hypoxic environment in the muscle, stimulating hypertrophy and strength gains similar to heavy lifting.
BFR is especially useful post-surgery or during rehab when heavy loads are contraindicated. It helps preserve or build muscle mass without stressing healing tissues.
In sports performance, it can also boost muscular endurance and metabolic stress, making it a powerful tool for both rehab and training.

Performance Optimization Movement Optimization / Injury Prevention

Why consult a physiotherapist if you’re not actively “injured”?

Sport-specific movements — and even those of daily life — require both mobility and stability. We focus on biomechanical assessments and correcting muscular imbalances to identify your “weak link” and help prevent long-term injuries.
